“Experience a one-of-a-kind tour that combines the Whitney Plantation and NOLA Urban City Culture Tour. This unique combo tour takes you down the historical River Road to the Whitney Plantation , where you’ll have an audio guided tour to learn about the plantation’s past and the harsh realities of rural plantation slavery.
After a lunch break, we’ll continue with the NOLA Urban Culture City Tour at 2:00 pm, You’ll see how the city’s vibrant and resilient enslaved community was able to preserve their culture through, traditions, religion, music, cuisine, and celebration, we visit places like Congo square, McDonogh 19, Studio Be, House of the dance and feathers, and much more…we also learn about the second line and voodoo culture. This tour is available Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Daily
